Q&A: do you want to be a Christian?

A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America. …
Brigette Gabriel BECAUSE THEY HATE: recalls how Muslims increasingly began a reign of terror. Road blocks would set up, and those with “Christian” marked on their ID card would be summarily machine-gunned. Christians finding loved ones’ bodies in alleys, beheaded or with throats slit, became a daily occurrence. Mere killing was seldom enough for the Muslims; brutality was celebrated. There was one instance where a Christian mother was physically forced by her own hand to slit her son’s throat, and then to watch as her two daughters were raped. Thus thousands were slaughtered, and many more thousands fled the nation, as Muslims claimed the land for their god.
The other half commences when Gabriel watches planes fly into the Twin Towers, and realizes that the same terror she had experienced as a young person, and that she thought she had escaped, had now come to her beloved new homeland. In the remainder of the book she turns her attentions to how stealth jihad has infected America from within under the cover of political correctness, how massive the challenge before us is, and what we must do about it.
This book is a very-well-written, gut-wrenching warning to a culture preoccupied with entertainment and celebrity gossip, and more interested in gaining dubious new socialist entitlements than in defending itself against a vicious enemy it grossly misunderstands.
If you have believed presidents, pundits and “Muslim moderates” when they have said that Islam is a religion of peace, you need to read this book. Gabriel very effectively sketches how violent aggressive jihad both centrally characterizes the life of Muhammad and is intrinsically baked into the Koran. You will learn how deceit as a means of spreading Islam is authorized by the Koran, and is celebrated in an Arab culture that is tightly bound up with an inordinate sense of shrewdness and a warped sense of loyalty and honor.
And if you already know that Islam is all about brutal subjection, this book will show you how a modern nation was taken down, and how the Islamics have carefully studied the psyche of the West and are using our freedoms and our naivety against us. Our institutions, our politics and our culture are already deeply infected by an unwillingness to identify the danger, and we are being masterfully manipulated by an enemy that many of us are unaware of and actually unknowingly complicit with.
It’s way past time that we woke up and began to take the serious measures that alone can save us. This compelling tale is not pleasant reading, but it is essential that we understand the times in which we live. Please, for the sake of our freedom, and of our children, who will inherit the consequences of our decisions, read this book.

Under those circumstances, I wouldn’t want to be a Christian. But, I don’t want to be a Christian, anyway: I’m quite happy as a Jew. That seems to come with enough problems these days, though.
Brigette Gabriel, if she went through all that, certainly had a most tragic life. While things are supposedly much, much better in Lebanon, and supposedly there is a model of coexistence between Christians and Muslims, I don’t think that I could ever return, if I was her.
She certainly has reason to fear what she does. I mean, I don’t agree with her views on Islam but I understand where she is coming from. I do fear that this society could easily be taken advantage of by fundamentalists, but I’m willing to put more faith into whatever is protecting us from it.
