a mans descent into insanity. The Main character will be traumatized by something and his mind will start slipping in little ways at first until finally ending up in the most extreme and grand fashion. A first person look at severe insanity so that the main chareacter seems to be the sane one in a jigsaw world of horrors and plain impossibilities in his rational mind until the weight of the situation as he tries to handle crushes him leaving him institutionalized as he tries to restore order and process everything causing him to eventually bring down his own life along the way as it makes as little sense to him as the rest of the fantastic world he has lost himself in as he grows unable to tell the difference between reality and fantasy. It will end with him coming to terms with his new world and walking with society as if completely normal to the
average person.
I believe I’ll have a very dark ending in which he kills the real person who is trying to help him believing her to be one of the thingfs out of place in his world when he finally snaps before coming to aknowlege the new order.
Following is a list of things that will be in the novel somehow that will sort of blend in and out of reality.
Dancing Shadow People
Night Dancing Statues
Doors to places that Shouldn’t Exist
Giant Black Dog running in the distance on an otherwise completely dead night.
Extremely elongated shadow people walking across a street light completely blocking out light for
an instant.
Humanoid monsters that walk on their arms and legs upside down with their heads backwards.
Charred black stains in the form of people on walls.
A single tree with leaves like burning red embers thats trunk jerks violently in all directions
creating the illusions of it being ablaze.
Ordinary things that for some reason lack shadows.
long foggy pathways that stretch on for what seems like forever.
A forest of vaguely humanesque forms in contorted pained poses frozen like trees.
Nearly Invisible Razor Wire Lined between trees in a forest like a maze.
giant Centipedes (less Cliched than Spiders but equailly if not more disturbing.
A Spirit world full of odd beings that are completely foreign to our world and defy all our
knowledge.
Large Black Birds that Stare
Mauled white Birds
A single man in a black or white suit wearing An innocent looking mask that seems to be able to
appear and dissapear at will.
Things moving at speeds unnatural for them and out of place in their environment.
Wandering Mansions with awkward decor and ever shifting rooms and coridors.
Completely and undoubtably insane people with a love of violence.
Serpent-like water spirits
A Mutilated person bound in a straight jacket eith all facial opening sewn shut but still alive
talking skulls
A Beautiful long Black Haired woman on an odd throne with an aura of cruelty (haven’t quite worked
it out yet)
Gold and white clock-like machines that control fates.
Original Gods with very strange appearances and customs.
A child spawned from a plant with the ability to draw life from those around it.
A Curse that turns the beautiful ugly in the eyes of the cursed
A guiding spirit
A Schizophrenic child
A mirror room with strange proportions.
