Question by Grimmjow Jaggerjack: 36 steps to making the best colleg paper eva!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
1. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a well-lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
2. Check your email.
3. Read over the assignment carefully, to make certain you understand it.
4. Walk down to the vending machines and buy some coffee to help you concentrate.
5. Check your email.
6. Stop off at another floor, on the way back and visit with your friend from class. If your friend hasn’t started the paper yet either, you can both walk to McDonald’s and buy a hamburger to help you concentrate. If your friend shows you her paper, typed, double-spaced and bound in one of those irritating see-thru plastic folders, drop her.
7. When you get back to your room, sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well-lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
8. Read over the assignment again to make absolutely certain you understand it.
9. Check your email.
10. You know, you haven’t written to that kid you met at camp since fourth grade. You’d better write that letter now and get it out of the way so you can concentrate.
11. Look at your teeth in the bathroom mirror.
12. Listen to one side of your favorite tape and that’s it, seriously, as soon as it’s over you are going to start that paper.
13. Listen to the other side.
14. Check your email.
15. Rearrange all of your CDs into alphabetical order.
16. Phone your friend on the other floor and ask if she’s started writing yet. Exchange derogatory remarks about your teacher, the course, the college, the world at large.
17. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well-lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
18. Read over the assignment again; roll the words across your tongue; savor their special flavor.
19. Check your email.
20. Check the newspaper listings to make sure you aren’t missing something truly worthwhile on TV. NOTE: When you have a paper due in less than 12 hours, anything on TV from Masterpiece Theater to “Sgt. Preston of the Yukon” is truly worthwhile, with these exceptions:
a) Pro Bowlers Tour
b) any movie starring Don Ameche
21. Catch the last hour of “Soul Brother of Kung Fu” on Channel 26.
22. Phone your friend on the third floor to see if he was watching. Discuss the finer points of the plot.
23. Check your email.
24. Look at your tongue in the bathroom miror.
25. Look through your roommate’s book of pictures from home. Ask whoeveryone is.
26. Sit down and do some serious thinking about your plans for the future.
27. Open your door and check to see if there are any mysterious, trenchcoated strangers lurking in the hall.
28. Check your email.
29. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well-lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
30. Read over the assignment one more time, just for heck of it.
31. Scoot your chair across the room to the window and watch the sunrise.
32. Lie face down on the floor and moan.
33. Check your email.
34. Leap up and write the paper.
35. Type the paper, and while you’re at it, check your email.
36. Complain to everyone that you didn’t get any sleep because you had to write that darn paper.

I would give this deck a 4/10 you have to mcuh stall and you really dont need to stall since you will not be stalling into anything good.

The deck I am about to list is a def 9/10 or 10/10 deck and imo should be tier 1 since it can beat almost every tier 1 deck out now, has some bad match ups against GB and Lightsworn if they get a turn 1 JD.

Deck:
Morphtronic Boarden x2
Morphtronic Boomboxen x2
Morphtronic Celfon x3
Morphtronic Radion x3
Morphtronic Remoten x3
Morphtronic Scopen x3
Morphtronic Slingen x2
Cyber Valley x3

Extradeck:
Stardust x2
Power tool dragons x3
armory arm x2

Right there is already 40 cards I left out the traps because you can win faster with a build just like this normaly 2nd turn win. If you want to add traps add in Mirror force and Forcefield that would put you at 44 if you max out forcefield.

What you will want to do is abuse celfon with machine duplication and get out enough to synchro into powertool ftw. It happens quick I think you will really enjoy this deck if you are interested in morphotronic

Good luck building you deck

Question by m: What’s the best way to practice to become a Linux server admin?
Sorry for the dumba** question, but here’s the situation.
Every job I’ve had, we’ve worked w/ a unix server set up w/ some distro of Linux. For the most part, I’ve just found myself interacting w/ the server through a terminal launched in a Windows desktop.
I haven’t had admin priviliges for the server; just basic priviliges to get in, get what I need, write what I need to, and get out.
Having not yet been put in a position to shadow the server admin, and facing experience requirements to get the position that I need to get that experience, I’m in a bind.

In the past, when doing client-server apps, I’ve just done little server applications and client applications on the same machine.
I haven’t run a server OS before, so I don’t really know how to go about looping it back to possibly act as both server and client on the same machine. This would be preferable. Alternately, I could set up a tiny, 2-3 comp at home LAN and work through that, if absolutely necessary.
For all intents and purposes, I’m a complete server admin newbie.
Any self-taught Linux server admins who managed w/o shadowing anyone or specific training classes out there? How did you do it? Thanks :)

Best answer:

Answer by RAVEN
The easiest way is to install Linux on a home system, learn Linux and Linux Admin from an online training source (Lynda.com, e.g.) then use what you learn on your own system. You won’t find anyone that’s willing to let you use their system for guinea pig testing, so your best option is to use the one person who won’t object – you.

What do you think? Answer below!

Q&A: best yugioh deck to use in tournament?

Question by Ibizan Hound: best yugioh deck to use in tournament?
i have a fully functional dino deck where i can get life from remove from plays and get my ultimate tyrano easily up to 6000 attack

i also have a deck that is not legal for tournaments due to 2 cards (monster reborn & Chaos emperor dragon) but the main part of the deck is zombies and fiends their were 5 light monsters that i have replaced with zombies in the hopes of using this deck in tournaments.

i could easily build a machine/psychic deck or just machine i have a new dark machine syncro that destroys all non dark monsters that attacks it or it attacks.

i also am in the process of making a water deck all water types fish and sea serpents and the water spellcasters (the ones that take over water types) i have the new synchro sea serpent cant recall the name i also have the earth bound immortal chacu culla and the dark orca fortress and am in the process of getting more torpedo fish.

i could make a warrior type deck however i do not have a field card for them.

i will not make a dragon deck as they will bite me in the end.

what do you think i should go with?

i have a tournament coming up with a 5.00 entrance fee winner gets a new box of cards me and some friends are competing i have won and lost against them by what deck they are using however we agreed not to tell each other what we are using until the day of the tournament and we cant change decks by then. we know our strategies inside and out.

so what should i try?
Jack: most people here seem to use cards that work like jinzo and remove from plays (which is ultimately in my advantage) most use spell casters and machines.

a select few (being people i know) use incredible themed decks one has a deck made of frogs (only frogs) it has a habit of sending every card you have right back to your hand.

another can pull out fusions in three turns. ive defeated some of the fusion ones with my dinos as i have a few anti fusion devices. but my dark deck only allows my opponent to summon dark monsters to the field. which could come in handy another idea was to drown them down with gravity binds

Answer by Jack
You can use just about any deck and win, provided that you know how it will do against other deck types. For example, Exodia decks rely on moving all the pieces to your hand as quickly as possible. Given as most other decks use monsters to deal damage to a player’s Life Points, Exodia decks need to have lots of cards to stop attacks. However, against a Card Destruction deck, an Exodia player would need to change their focus to negating hand destruction and returning discarded pieces, using cards like Backup Soldier, Magic Jammer and Monster Reincarnation more than simple drawing cards.

I personally just take all my favourite cards and try to make them work together, adding other cards to negate stuff like Lightsworns and Blackwings that seem to have been made purely to win tournaments. Analyse the metagame in your area and figure out what the most common deck types are and how to defeat them, then build your deck with that in mind.
