Exchange 2003 Server down?
Now days I am suffering with a problem in Exchange, that is that all the clients(outlook) show disconnected almost every morning, and nobody is able to use the e-mail. After restarting the server it is fine but this has to be done every day.
Server Name: ST32S001
OS: Windows Server 2003 SP2
Mail Server : Exchange 2033 SP2
Domain Name: yanbu.site
Action already taken to resolve the problem:
1. Check the system connectivity continuously 5 to 10 minutes with server with ping (-t) command, but not single time found “request timed out”. Connectivity is fine.
2. Checked the exchange services, found all the exchange services in running state, but when I try to restart the services it couldn’t restart and gives the error message “ Error 1053: The service did not respond to start the control request in timely fashion”, The service then goes to “stopping” state, then no any other option accept to restart the machine and after restart the machine every thing works fine whole day, till next morning.
3. When I check about this error from Microsoft, Microsoft said this error occur due to .Net framework, and found a patch for .Net framework but after installation of this patch same problem exists…
