Do you have to have probable cause and a warrant before you can do a full body scan?? Or will airport personal be able to randomly scan whoever they want??

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Government officials say the first of 150 new full-body scanners will be installed in airports in Boston and Chicago over the next two weeks.

A Homeland Security Department official said Tuesday all of the 150 new machines will be installed by the end of June. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement is not yet public.

The body-scanners were purchased with money from President Barack Obama’s stimulus plan announced in February last year.

The use of the machines in airports is a key part of the Obama administration’s plans to improve airport security. Obama called for buying hundreds more of them after the attempted Christmas Day terror bombing of a Detroit-bound airliner.
scott b…………But this article isn’t talking about PRIVATE security. It’s talking about govt. funds and homeland security.

quick question about quilting?

I am new to the whole quilting thing and I am horrible at math.

I am making a quilt that measures our to 43″ by 43″ and I need to cut the backing for it but there are no instructions where to cut the back and how to sew it back together. I have 1 and a 1/2 yards and thats what the thing says it needed.

But where do I cut it?

and for hand binding do i sew one side by machine and then look it around and sew it to the other side by hand? im lost.

please help!! :)

I’m 14 and love writing

i’m putting together a collection of my works to give to friends and family for xmas

i can’t spend too much money on it as i need to make around 12 copies and am on a limited budget as my parents are paying!!

i was going to soak paper in tea and then handwrite it in black in and hen bind it with string but i think this would take too long.

My aunty has a machine that will bind with royal blue paperback covers, so i could decorate and contact those???

These are books for collecting your smashed or elongated pennies of the type you get in machines outside souvenir shops or at tourist attractions. They were small books with several plastic pages and had a hard plastic binding. Inside you could slip the coin completely in to the plastic sleeves on each page. Seems like the only ones available for purchase anymore are trifolds where you slip in the coins but the plastic only covers the middle of the coin. These new kinds are also tall, and the old one I’m looking for was more squarish. I have three of these, one from Wall Drug, one from Oregon and one from San Francisco. Do they not make these anymore? I just don’t care for the new ones being sold.
