This machine is used to bind three books.
A. Find the probability that none of the books is defective.
B. Find the probability that at least one is defective.
C. Find the probability that all of the books are defective

I make quilts and blankets, I am tired of doing them by hand. I have to date tried three different sewing machines all with the same results. When I sew the material 1/8-inch from the edge the machine will jam and bind the material and the thread. I do not understand why. I have gone to several different sewing places and they cannot tell me why.

I need to replace our binding system (currently using a GBC wirebind system) and am hoping to get a comb bind – electric machine. It’s for an office of about 50 people, we bind about 50 proposals (3 – 60 pages) a week on average. Any tips would be helpful!
