You can download the drivers, manuals, etc. from the following web page, my friend.
The EULA (End User License Agreement) generally means that you accept the idea that you won’t reverse engineer the Brother software and make different versions of it available elsewhere. If you don’t agree to this, then Brother will not allow you to use their software … or if they find that you have, may take you to court for damages.
Reverse engineer, by the way, means ‘open’ the software using such things as Hex editors, etc. to see how they’ve gone about compiling the machine code that allows their products to ‘talk’ to your computer. Don’t get hung up on this. You’ll undoubtedly see EULA agreements for most pieces of software that you install on your computer. If you don’t accept the agreement, you won’t be able to install whichever piece of software you intend anyway.
Visit the downloads section of Brother’s official website. Choose “Printers” from the “Select Product Group” menu.
Locate the model number on your Brother printer. It is probably on the top or front of the printer and begins with a letter or series of letters, such as “DCP,” “HL” or “M.” Choose the matching model number from the “Select Model” drop-down menu and click “View.”
Scroll down to the header “Your Results.” Click the link that shows your model number and “Downloads on our Online Solution Center.”
Select your operating system–for example, Windows 7 or Windows XP–from the “Select OS” menu. Select your language and click “Search.”
Click the “Information & Download” link under “Full Driver & Software Package.” Click “Download,” accept the license agreement, and save the file somewhere accessible on your computer.
Double-click the file to start the printer software installation. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process.
