I am planning to purchase a hitch lock for
my cargo trailer so that no one can hitch up
to my cargo trailer and steal it.
I had a previous lock which used a tubular
locking mechanism
(like locks on the front of vending machines),
but the moisture caused me problems
(would bind up) when I tried to unlock it.
Please recommend a lock which is fairly tamper proof
and will deter most potential thieves, but the lock
holds up well in an environment with a lot rain
and occasionally freezing temperatures.

Look at some of the AMERICAN PADLOCK heavy duty series padlocks.
